====== New Player Guide ======

Welcome to OceaniaRO! Here's how to get started.

===== 1. Connect =====

  - Download the full client:

  - Extract the **.7z** (use [[https://www.7-zip.org/|7-Zip]] if you don't have it).
  - Register an account on the [[https://oro.playonnetwork.xyz|control panel]].
  - Launch the client and log in.

===== 2. Make your character =====

New characters start in **Prontera**. Pick a class and head out — or visit the **Job Master** to change jobs quickly //(if enabled)//.

===== 3. Useful town NPCs =====

  * **Healer** — free heals
  * **Warper** — fast travel
  * **Job Master** — change jobs
  * **Stylist** — change hair/color/look
  * **Maren the Tidewright** (Izlude) — start the [[quests:ocean_gear|Ocean Gear]] quest

===== 4. Level up & gear =====

Check the [[server:rates|server rates]], grab some early gear, then work toward our custom [[items:start|equipment sets]] through [[quests:start|quests]].

===== 5. Get help =====

  * Use **@request** in-game to reach a GM.
  * Join our [[https://discord.gg/7AAjSVGrEU|Discord]] — fastest way to reach staff and the community.
