Poring Haven

Poring Haven is OceaniaRO's custom early leveling field, now set in the old novice grounds at new_1-1. It mixes classic starter monsters with OceaniaRO's custom poring line so new players can level, farm, and learn the server's custom reward loop in one place.

Field Structure

  • Classic starter mobs - Porings, Drops, Poporings, and Marins help smooth out early leveling.
  • Custom porings - Themed poring variants provide extra drops, cards, and trial targets.
  • Poring King - A mini-boss that ties into the mercenary token system.

Getting There

  • Use the Malangdo Warper and choose Poring Haven.
  • The field also has a local helper at 66,115 for healing and warping out.

Why It Exists

Poring Haven gives players a custom leveling space that feels more directed than standard wandering. It also feeds into custom cards, hunt-board trials, Tidemark mercenary tokens, and early economy materials.

Poring King Sigils

The Coral Sigil, Storm Feather, and Abyss Pearl that can drop from the Poring King are Tidemark Company faction tokens. They are not vendor trash.

  • Coral Sigil - Used toward Tidewarden tank mercenary contracts.
  • Storm Feather - Used toward Galestrider ranged mercenary contracts.
  • Abyss Pearl - Used toward Deepcaster magic mercenary contracts.

Take them to the Tidemark Broker in Izlude harbor to forge mercenary contracts. One faction token makes a Normal contract, while three tokens make an Elite contract.

Player Advice

  • Use this field for early levels, custom card hunting, and starter farming.
  • Keep any sigils from the Poring King if you want mercenary help later.
  • If you need to leave, use the local helper or the normal teleport tools.

The Poring Court (July 2026 update)

The Haven is now a living field, not just a farm:

    The Poring King holds court - his arrival and defeat are announced across the field, with the victor's name. He respawns about a minute after being toppled, and his defeat even feeds the Tidegauge in Izlude. Poring Rally - every couple of hours (odd hours, ten past), a 20-minute surge of extra porings sweeps the field, joined by three Crown Couriers carrying Bronze Coins for whoever catches them. The Jelly Census - a server-wide count of every poring culled in the Haven, viewable at the Guide. Every 10,000th kill moves the King to declare an immediate bonus rally, announced server-wide. Guide improvements - the Poring Haven Guide can now warp you to Izlude harbor, report whether the King is up, and show the current Census.

    Rumor: something else washed up on this field long ago. A deckhand in Malangdo pays for answers.
